Other People's Toys

I was taught as a toddler that if I played with someone else's toy and broke it then I would pay for it to be repaired or replaced, even though I wasn't old enough to earn allowance. Apparently the secretary of defense (er...war) wasn't taught that basic life lesson and won't be paying for the one his staff damaged in a rush to get it moved into his war romper room.

Taxpayers are always tapped to pay for childish mistakes of elected leaders and bureaucrats.
