Old Man's Toy Chair

I'm starting to think about getting a high-end gaming chair to sit in when playing computer games I never had time or money for as a university student or working in professional jobs.

This one's expensive, running about $7.5K at today's prices. And even though I'm still a little hopped up in great mood enough from steroids administered during a bit of implant surgery yesterday, I'm not yet ready to spring for it just yet. Better wait until after the drugs wear off.

It's fun to image getting such a nice piece of gaming tech furniture for my second childhood. Maybe I can also get a video wall installed in the game room to enjoy fav views during play.

Set the wall to display a playlist of some of my favorite places in the world, from high country to deep, dark bayous I explored and played in extensively before I had to start my teenhood.

There are plenty of places to add to the playlist from around the world before travels ceased.

And places I was fortunate enough to live and work near as a professional for three decades. And hell, I may as well go for a video floor to maximize the effect as a sweet retirement perk.

Maybe by the time I pull the trigger on this little life enhancement I can get AI to generate videos of all of my favorite places and play on wall and floor, producing full flying chair effect.

Now that would be a cool environment I wouldn't mind expiring in during some gameplay. Maybe for a few grand more I can get a model which will process my decaying remains, too.
