Five generations back in my family tree, this fellow lived to be 122 years, 6 months, 2 days of age, making me wonder if I should adjust my goal date for croaking out another decade. I won't be quaffing down anything like Pe-ru-da with hopes it will extend my life, though, as ad-imbedded newsorint reports claim Issac did. Not to critize him for doing that, if true, just declining all artificial means of prolongation. These days, pharmecutical cure adverts on the boobtube list so many sideffects that I doubt I could keep track of them all if any were to strike me while partaking in the curative product. I've made it this far without becoming an avid pharmajunkie, so I'll just keep on keeping on this way to the end, however long it'll be.

Issac lived an experientially rich life, if not to a degree of material luxury by standards of his day. Sadly, he lost a daughter when she drowned while bathing in the Bosque River near Waco. He tried to check out early by overdosing on laudanum, and upon failing that, he pulled out his pocket knife to finish the suicide but was restrained by caring folks nearby. She was one of sixteen children he fathered and he was 114 when she died. A hard reality to have to face after so many years of life and strife. Another decade of life beyond the 110 year goal I expect to achieve would be pretty cool. Might even get to see antigravity become boring.
