The ultimate endgame feature will be advancement into a level of space travel which is theoretically impossible but can stealthily impart knowledge of its theory in a wholly entertaining way. This ultimate game level is the ability to attempt to travel faster than light.
It begins with basic FTL trajectory training scenarios using the FTL heads up user interface.

This leveling scenario will progress through all theoretical categories of knowledge about FTL, including what will happen upon failure, in highly entertaining and engaging fashion.
The endgame reward will include grant of a FTL-capable vehicle in which players can explore deeper into the game's more complex built-in features. These explorations will ultimately be canvased and analyzed by the game's AI agent for inclusion in player-generated story lines.
I entered into the gaming universe for the first time in the early 90s playing MYST. That wonderfully presented game content and simple PDF-based presentation method intrigued me so much that it brought about a deep, abiding calm during a tulmultuous phase of life. At that time I was suffering a form of mental illness induced by a narccisist attempting to control me in every way imaginable. Fortunately, internal fortitude prevailed and I was able to disengage and put distance between myself and the control freak to resume pursuing life goals as I always intended to. I won't go so far as to claim MYST saved me but I am convinced it was good medicine for what ailed me, and as I have continued exploring other gaming opportunities over the decades since then, I have become enamored with the healing balm they can impart through mere action of deep, entertaining engagement. Stirring in nether regions of my always curious mind as I happily gamed along playing several very welldone titles, I wondered how they might be leveraged in hospitals and homes for some bed-bound patients unable to get out into the world to explore through gaming play.
After thrills and chills of obtaining FTL transport and repeatedly wrecking it, players might then be stealthily guided toward less fantastical theoretical transport methods, such as . . .

Scenario Script Draft:
The image and animations above serve to illustrate how Spacechase's immersive Stealth FTL Astrophysics scenario isn't just a spreadsheet game segment; it's a visceral, high-stakes thriller that deeply engages its players.
FTL Training Level Initiation Scenario:
00:00-00:05 | The Calm: The HUD is a steady, rhythmic blue. You see the Aeryn's wireframe gliding smoothly through a "Spacetime Shroud." Vesper's voice is a low, sarcastic hum: "Doing great, Commander. You're almost as invisible as your social life."

An ominous mathematical notation begins flashing insistently on the HUD, demanding attention be paid to it:
00:05-00:15 | The Tipping Point: A massive, distorted sphere enters the map—a Strelak Gravity Well. The HUD begins to jitter. The Event Horizon Gauge slides into the red. The mathematical notation begins to flash at frantic rate as the ship's computer tries to compensate for the curvature.
00:15-00:25 | The Chaos: The "X" representing the ship starts shaking violently as it leaves the Flat Spacetime Zone. The color shifts from cool blue to a warning amber. The screen begins to tear with "Metric Static" - visual artifacts that look like the fabric of reality is unraveling.
00:25-00:30 | The Blackout: A massive red overlay: [CRITICAL SHEAR DETECTED]. Vesper's voice cuts out into a digital screech. The screen fractures, the "Metric Metric" dial hits zero, and the video cuts to a single, haunting line of text:
[SIGNAL LOST: CAUSAL DISCONNECT].
