Bunker Boom

Life can be wonderful, but current events are trending for unpleasantness on multiple levels.

The private bunker construction business is booming with new installations increasing significantly since January 2025. Hell, even the convicted felon in the White House is having a luxurious new one built under a gaudy new ballroom. It's all laughable considering how obsolete private bunkers are. Even military forces know the bunker days are rapidly becoming passé, even for state-of-the-art models having two-spare redundancies throughout them. When the shit hits the fan in whatever form it does, private bunker owners will be left hanging without critical resources to maintain their high-maintenance hidey-holes.

Better to steadily prepare for weathering societal shitstorms above ground beneath open skies instead of such chambers of little to no utility, sure to become dreary, dank sepulchers.
