Being Their Tools

Watching the convicted felon in the White House wielding U.S. citizenry as his tools for solidifying power with self-declared intention to continue doing so indefinitely is worrisome.

Watching the convicted felon in the White House collaborate transactionally with admired dictators, all wielding national populations in narcissistic pursuits to gain and retain power over everything and everyone within and beyond their domains of control, is even more worrisome. But most worrisome of all is how so many of their citizens love being controlled by them. MAGA, MAHA, MAPA...are their labels, never knowing they are merely their tools.

It's to be expected since narcissists band together. They never bond, though, incapable of seeing anyone as anything but competition. So as all dictatorial collaborators have done, and always do, they will turn on each other, and their fragile kingdoms will crumble and fall. Hitler and Mussolini, Stalin and Zedong, Napoleon and Alexander, all failed dictatormances. And as they fail, those still alive in their wake face deep societal fragmentation and resource scarcity–both already manifested in today's world from repercussions of their chaotic actions.

The only pressing question is this: will we be compelled to wage civil wars in the aftermath? Or will we evolve into wiser citizens of the world, striving to recover from their horrific reign?
