Waiting For Light

I'm no photography or videography pro, capturing images as mood strikes, pretty much. But I will occasionally try to wait for light to get just right for a shot. Sometimes it does. Most times it doesn't. Waiting this morning to capture photos from the back side of the lower aspen grove to get a nice shot of that vast organism's new leafage in good light, I had time to look around at other things of interest as natural illumination gradually improved.

Striking morning light and shadows cast by oaks...

Conifers sprouting bright new branch tips...

A waning Moon hanging in crystal clear sky between tall pines...

That beautiful flowering vine I still haven't identified...

A large mossy boulder never noticed before...

Chokecherry blossom buds (uh oh...there was a frost last night...hope it didn't damage them)
