It started earlier than predicted and is coming down heavy. Forecasting up to a foot of snow overnight. Blizzards usually make me sleepy, especially when they begin late in the day like this one has. Solar panels were able to soak up enough sunlight to top off the battery bank before it started a few minutes ago. Nice to see the little green inverter indicator glowing in the corner of the kitchen. If this storm knocks out the local grid, it will keep on glowing steadily and providing power to the house as it has without a hitch for almost fifteen years now.
Off to bed for a bit of reading and napping while the snow piles up outside. If I'm lucky, dreams will be vivid and strange. A flying dream, maybe.
