Imagining Futures
Updated: Sep 12
After a productive day spent felling half a dozen standing dead, trimming, blocking, and hauling them all down to the house yard for leisurely splitting and stacking the next day, the only things desired for the remainder of waking hours were a hot meal, a deep, hot bath, some time reflecting on completed tasks, and music making for planning future trajectories.

Past, present and possible outcomes all in mind at once, it was a rich reality to contemplate in both directions along the timeline. Dozing with full stomach as aches slowly seeped from muscle and bone into surrounding hydro-warmth, the mind easily separated from body and soared, surveying panoramic views of what would be with some focused effort and success.
