Golden Glow & First Rainbow 2019

A final evening thunderstorm rolled away to the southeast a few minutes ago after dumping a good amount of rain, leaving a small bundle of glowing golden mammatus dangling from the trailing edge of the passing storm, and faint traces of ends of first rainbow of the year.

The entire rainbow may have been visible for a few moments but I didn't get outside in time to see it. Golden glow of setting sun reflecting off of the clouds finally caught my attention, and the east end of the rainbow was more pronounced against darker sky in that direction.

A nice sight to wrap up about as perfect a summer evening as I could hope for.
