Discovering Local Biodiversity

Tinkering with Gemini AI to delve into biodiversity on the new parcel was revealing. My first query to the model produced an image depicting species one is most likely to see out here.

Checking the results carefully, the image did indeed show almost every creature I have spotted on the property since first laying eyes on it. But not quiet all of them, so I asked the AI agent to expand the image to show every known speices of life currently living out here. It began cranking on the request, obviously burning through large amounts of data and kilowatts, then it did something I had not seen it do before. It produced not just one image, but a series of three, each including more creatures than the previously generated images.

But it still wasn't everything, and Gemini AI admitted to this, asking if I wanted to see more. I responded that I wanted to see more of the smaller creatures, the insects and arachnids, etc.

And finally, I requested generation of an image depicting the microbial life forms living here.

I'll have to spend some time verifying that this last image's contents are accurate, after I get a good microscope and begin gathering samples. Another way to keep an aged mind active.
