When I'm stuck and nothing good seems to come from concerted study or creative work, I just play. Sometimes I play MMORPGs. WoW and Eve Online are favorites. Moving through the zones and start systems, exploring, questing, trading, raiding, dancing on corpses of pvp foes. Thinking about trying No Man's Sky but it doesn't run on Macs yet. Not going to stoop so low as to waste money on a piece of junk Wintel machine. No way.
That would ruin the effect, thinking about the horrible hackjob of an OS running beneath the zones of play game makers worked so hard to spin out of billions and trillions of mere bits. An insult to their creative effort.
