A huge flock arrived this morning just a few minutes ago. Now they're bob bob bobbing around the meadow and surrounding forest looking for ground-bound grub.
Not a great photo of the first one spotted, but it'll do to spark fond memories in the future. Always an uplifting experience to see them return to the canyon, signaling cold weather days are coming to an end soon.
