Someone recently insisted I do something regularly to a strict schedule that they specified.
Yeah . . . no.
I'm retired. I no longer live by clocks and calendars and timers. I don't operate on anyone's schedule now, not even one of my own making. Natural effects from passage of days, nights and seasons are the only indicators of time I care to pay any attention to from now on. All others are of no consequence.
One of my favorite seasonal events of note is getting snowed in. No one wants to be up here when the snow is so deep. A wonderful side-effect. Working exclusively on personal projects as my urges and aspirations compel without interruption by anyone, I blissfully live a clockless existence.
