Shades of cooler gray

Leaning over from the north

Hinting of sweet rain

Swelling thunderclouds

Sweeping too far to the west

Thunder from the east

Finally rain falls

Stirring fragrant aerosols

Thunder rolls closer

Just a stingy sip

Eastward big rain is falling

Thunder drifts southeast

Sailing away now

Slim promise for a rainbow

Ah well, suppertime.
