Power Up

Windmill water pumping has been a thing around here for more than a century. This century, power turbines are springing up all over the land. I can even buy all-green energy now if I want to from a county-wide daily supply of about 2,510MWh. I'd rather generate it all myself.

Down the road a natural gas combined-cycle power plant cranks out about 1,300MWh daily.

It's good to have these options available as I get the homestead microgrid built and running. Since Texas Natural Resources Code dictates turbines and solar arrays all be dismantled and land they sit upon restored for farming and ranching, green energy won't last 30 more years.
