Received a nice phone call from Apple regarding my negative in-store experience picking up the new Mac Mini a couple of days ago. They seemed genuinely concerned about it and the manager of the store assured me steps would be taken to make it all better. We'll see next year when I buy the Mac Pro.
In the meantime, some extended play is in order. A little time in World of Warcraft is a perfect way to test its processing limits. Not bad at all, but I think I'm eventually going to add a good eGPU to it. The Intel UHD Graphics 630 unit it came with works well, but not as well as I'll want it to when using Final Cut to do some heavy-duty video editing–or when I'm struggling to survive a heavy-duty ganking.
