Pharmacorps are hellbent on turning everyone into pharmajunkies. I prefer to live pharmafree and hope to go out naturally without a scintilla of artificially manufactured crap like that coursing through my vascular system. People tell me I'm a fool for not taking advantage of our modern pharmacopia. Maybe. But it is my body, after all. Yet it can cause unforeseen complications.
The anesthesiologist for my cataract surgery almost refused to allow the procedure to begin because my blood pressure was so high. White coat syndrome. At the pre-surgery physical it was not high at all. The attending anesthesiologist urged me to see a doctor about having it chemically treated.
To hell with that. If I had been put on blood pressure medications prior to surgery, it's likely I would have consumed carcinogenic contaminants for years as US pharmaceutical makers failed to detect such contaminants in ingredients supplied by fucking worthless Chinese manufacturers.
Yeah, just what I need. N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) and/or N-nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA) coursing through my system causing liver and blood cell damage and encouraging cancer to gain a foothold somewhere for a horribly excruciating final phase of a life experience.
No thanks. I choose to go out clean and free of pharmaceutical dependencies. It's my right. And if anyone ever tries to force me into becoming a pharmajunkie, there will be hell to pay for that violation of my freedom.
