About half way between Ocate and Wagon Mound this sight always makes me pause to look and meditate on nothing in particular. It's just about as far east as I'm inclined to go these days, having seen everything of any interest beyond this point more than once. This place is as peaceful as they come. I rarely see anyone else driving this stretch of road even today. I hope it stays that way.
