After a day making final tweaks to the new computer, it's ready for production use. Apple failed to install latest updates to the OS and four apps preinstalled on it to the tune of about 10GB of software I have to download and install myself now. Fired off a feedback form to thank them for being so thoughtful. The bastards. Then a quick meal and off to bed again as rain began falling at midnight, a favorite time for rain. Nothing can lull me to sleep like midnight rain, especially when there's a little lightning and thunder too.
Now it's time to backup the work completed on the new computer before some damn thing happens to undo or wipeout all the work completed setting it up. The Mac Mini is an excellent phase-one upgrade, providing all the processing power I'll need for the next year or so.
