First night rain in 2018 didn't come until April 7th. This year it happened on February 14th. No complaints, especially after being under a Red Flag warning the previous day. Heavy winds have passed. Rain is still falling softly now just past midnight, a balmy 40º F. With a fair amount of snowfall this winter, it will be good if this trend continues to lead to a nice green spring and summer. The last super green year was 2015 when rains fell more days than not.
