This is first bloom spotted this spring. I have no idea what plant this is by name. It doesn't matter much, though. I've noticed it before, its tiny flowers appearing before anything else. No fragrance of blooming flowers in the air yet that I can detect. Previous years I've been able to track down first fragrance to wild holly growing in the forest shade up the south-facing slope, also a tiny flower.
