Not far from here is an outfit set up to provide therapeutic outdoor-environment activities for veterans and their families free of charge. Situated on scenic terrain and populated with lots of native and imported wildlife species where no hunting is allowed, it provides a tranquil space spanning thousands of acres where its clients can unplug and unwind at their leisure without having to navigate tourist crowds or endure chronic commercialization at every turn.

I won't speak its name here, having no authority to do so, but I do enjoy thinking of the unifying good they do in this modern world so plagued by horrific divisive dastardliness. And I enjoy thinking about doing something similar with the food forest here as it grows and matures, perhaps cooperatively with the outfit already set up so well to serve veterans of war nearby. Maybe someday delivering fresh food forest produce to them free of charge, Or . . .

. . . by allowing them to come here to pick their own from the maze of food forest offerings.

Maybe the food forest will have matured enough for such cooperative activities about a decade from now, if not a little sooner. No rush, because it'll take time, but will be time well spent making it happen. Beats the hell out of going commercial just to turn a stinking profit.
