Unnecessarily applying a bulldozer to land never appealed to me much. Too much scarring. Laying pavement appeals even less. Paving materials chock full of toxic chemicals will leach right into the ground. Besides, driving through forest on a bed of pine needles is pretty nice.
As a youngster I dreamed of one day building a home deep in wilderness accessible only by footpath. No motorized vehicles allowed. Maybe this dream will be realized before life's end.
