I know people whose personal debt is so high they can't see their own feet because their floating eyeballs can only gaze upward, forever watching for elusive economic turning point. Having managed to live debtfree and without using credit now for more than twenty years, it seems ludicrous that the USA has deepened its debt to the point of having floating eyeballs as well. But as this behavior ramps up each and everytime Republicans gain control of too many branches of government (which they always have and always will strive to do), I'm not sure I care much about such fiscal insanity anymore. I'm so old now, I'll die before it hurts me.

Sadly, if this nation's toxic divisiveness doesn't end soon, all young people will surely suffer.

Dismal lack of prospects seem inevitable to me, with deadlock in BIGGOV. And yet history indicates this quagmire can and will be cleared, at least for a while, thanks to legislative adjustment, structural shift, collective resilience and irrepressible economic growth potential.

History has played out as such for me personally over more than half of my lifetime. Enter AI and implications of its influences on society as it lunges and lurches ahead into near future.

Being a citizen BIGGOV has consistently tried to destroy through wars, financial shitstorms, intentionally ignited wildfires, and who knows what next, AI is emerging as a powerful tool.

Whether we're smart enough to wield it effectively to yeild positive reults is anyone's guess.
